Total blast from the past!!

Holy shit... First things first... $8.25 for a fuckin' 20oz beer!!! Gillett is a FUCKIN' THIEF!!! Maudit tabarnac!!

Scott Ian, Joey Belladonna and co. tore up the place!! Just one song from the last album (thankfully) and both favourites: Antisocial and I Am the Law!! Anthrax kicked butt and IMO, they were the better band tonight. Heavy, fast and kickin ass!!!

Then Judas Priest hop on stage and Halford IS NOT ON HIS BIKE!!! I was disappointed... as usual, Halford was heavy on the cheese (kick-ass leather jackets though) and the bassist looked like a fuckin' lumberjack hacking wood when he was playing. The set was a bit uneven but entertaining nonetheless. BUT, they finish off with Painkiller, and they played it HEAVY!!! I nearly came in my pants! They leave the stage and before their encore, the lights go out again and you hear IT roar... ROAR... RRRROOOOOOOAAAAARRRRRR!! Halford gets on stage on his classic, chromed out Harley!!! Plus he sings the whole song (can't remember which) while sitting on it!

It was a kick-ass show!!!

Afterwards, cheaper beer was in order. Stopped by Brutopia ($5.50 a pint!!) for a raspberry blonde and then headed to Saph for more metal and even cheaper beer!!

Slept 3 and a half hours... tis going to be a loooooooong day indeed...
